Bethany Units Assist Millville With A Building Fire - Powell Farm Rd.

At 2314 hours the Millville, Roxana and Bethany Beach Fire Companies along with Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to a structure fire in Millville. 84-8 arrived to advise 30x30 garage well off. 70 units were dispatched as RIT. When quint 70 arrived on scene they were assigned truck tasks. engine 70-2 arrived assumed RIT responsibilities, units on scene made quick work of fire. During overhaul a bystander went into cardiac arrest, two members from the RIT team, along with ambulance 84 and sussex county paramedics, assisted with patient care, patient transported to local Er with pulse. 70 units cleared shortly after.
