Just prior to 7 PM, Sussex alerted Bethany Beach Volunteers to assist Ocean City on yet another reported structure fire. Bethany Beach units were staged along Coastal Highway and assisted Ocean City firefighters as they were tasked. A defective air handler had spread smoke throughout the theatre prompting the evacuation of the building. The problem was isolated to the air handler and no injuries were reported.
