Child Struck By Vehicle - Coastal Highway and South 9th St.

Around 2pm the Bethany Beach Firefighters along with Millville EMS and Sussex County EMS were alerted for a child struck by a vehicle along Coastal Hwy. 70-8 arrived and advised the subject was still in the roadway. Millville's first EMS unit advised command of a Priority 1 trauma patient with a head injury. Other units arrived and assisted with traffic and patient care. The child was flown to Johns Hopkins for evaluation.
