Serious MVA Kent Ave. - Kent Ave. Bethany Beach

On 12-26-2007 at 1250hrs while returning from a structure fire in Ocean City the Bethany Beach Volunteers were alerted to a 2nd emergency in the district reported as a serious MVA. Fire Capt. Parrett arrived on the scene just after dispatch reporting multiple serious patients and requested a level 1 MCI. All units that were returning from Ocean City’s fire responded on the call. After the initial assessment of injuries to patients, it was determined that there were 2 priority 1 patients, 1 priority 2 patient and 2 priority 3 patients. Arriving units were assigned to assist EMS with patient care and packaging. Units were on the scene just under an hour. Rescue Capt. Suit had the command with Fire Capt.
