At 0847 the Bethany Beach Fire Co. Was alert for a car fire in the area of 30422 Coastal Highway. Units arrived to find a vehicle in the South bound lane at the base of the Inlet Bridge well involved. Coastal Highway was shut down for short time while crews extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
