Crew surveys flooded roadways - BBVFC Headquarters

Chief Brian Martin of your Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company instructed a crew to canvass the Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island area for rising water in the roadways. Chief Martin believed this was essential so he could make a more prudent decision when dispatching fire equipment to the diverse areas of Bethany Beach’s first due fire assignment area. FF/EMT Billy Ireland, Lt. Garrett Piel and JFF Rick Parrett manned Unit 70-11 for this task.
I accompanied the crew and acquired the following pictures of the Indian River Inlet, Bethany Beach proper, and Fenwick Island. No need to add any words, a picture tells it all!
