Firefighters must drill on many skills of emergency responce. But none is more important than being able to escape when a situation turns bad. Past chief Brian Martin and others have constructed a simulator at headquarters to allow just this kind of training. Simulating movement through a collapsed structure. Escaping hazards that might entangle a firefighter, and "bail out" from a window. This simulator has been used by our members and surrounding fire companies to allow firfighters to gain experience in these tactics in a training environment.
