Basic Firefighting Skills Drill - Millville by the Sea Development

Millville Station 84 was given a unique training opportunity and invited their neighbors from Bethany Beach Station 70 to participate. Several demonstrator homes for the Millville by the sea development off of route 17 are scheduled for demolition. Prior to the demolition the owners allowed firefighters an opportunity to conduct drills in basic firefighting skills. 70-8 with Deputy Chief Moore and Quint 70 with Asst. Chief Hickman joined multiple units from station 84 at the drill. Led by Millville Asst Chief Evans, firefighters participated in hose, ladder, and forcible entry and escape evolutions. Despite very high winds many new and experienced firefighters gained valuable training experience.
