Safe Kids Day 2014 - Lowes, Five Points Lewes

On Saturday June 21, 2014 Quint 70-5 joined healthcare providers and other emergency responders for the Safe Kids Day in Lewes. Hosted by Lowes at five points, the event featured fire departments from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Indian River, Slaughter Beach and Bethany Beach. Helicopters from Delaware State Police and Christiana LifeNet joined Sussex County EMS, Beebe Medical Center, Nanticoke Hospital, Delaware Fire School and many other community organizations to promote safety to families and children. The Quint crew showed off our equipment, handed out fire prevention material and enjoyed working with our partners to promote safety at the start of our busy summer season.
