Day 2 of Jet Ski Rescue Training - Indian River Inlet

Final Day of Advanced Jet Ski Rescue Training Completed On Sunday, 23 August 2015, the Bethany Beach Fire Company completed its final of training at the Indian River Inlet. This particular training was specific to rescues in and near jetties. As Chief Martin stated, “It was a great success”. Special thanks to the U.S. Coast Guard, Station Indian River, for providing a safety zone within the Inlet during the training exercise. Shorts Marine provided the use of a sophisticated rescue Jet Ski. The training class consisted of the following members: Instructors: Tony Hargett & Ben Selleck of Aqua 7 Water Rescue Education 1.
