Dumpster Fire in Bethany's First Due - Jefferson Bridge Road

Around 1800 hrs, the Bethany Beach Vol. Fire Co., was alerted to a reported dumpster fire with exposures to a structure. Upon arrival of Asst. Chief Brian McConlogue in 70-8, he confirmed a 8 yard dumpster fully involved, but reported no current exposure problems. Quint 70 arrived within minutes of dispatch under the direction of Asst, Chief Eric Myers. The crew from the Quint quickly knocked the fire and prevented the fire from extending into the nearby structure.
