Tuesday Night is "Back to the Basics" Night - Station 70 Headquarters

Tuesday nights have become “Back to the Basics” night at headquarters. Firefighters have been drilling the basic skills of firefighting to maintain and improve the quality of the department’s performance. This week our friends from Roxana Station 90 joined in our drill. Asst. Chief Parrett led the drill that included a review of ladder pipe operations on Quint 70, and basic SCBA use for new firefighters. The night concluded with an SCBA confidence drill in our “pig pen maze” in the east building.
