Working Residential Fire - Ocean Roand and Dune Road Tower Shores

A busy Friday evening continued when at 2311 Sussex EOC Dispatched Stations 70, 84, 90 86 and Medic 105 to a reported working structure fire on Ocean Road at Dune Road in Tower Shores. 70-8 with Captain McConlogue arrived on scene and found nothing showing from a 3 story multi-unit dwelling; however occupants reported a fire on the third floor. Quint 70 with Chief Powell laid a 5” supply line into side A and stretched a 2” line to investigate. Crews found a fire burning in the side C wall of the third floor and quickly brought it under control. Units performed salvage and overhaul and stood by until arrival of the fire marshal. The fire is under the investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.
