On Friday 2/10/12 the Bethany Fenwick Chamber of Commerce hosted the Joshua M. Freeman Valor Award Luncheon at DiFebo's Bistro on the Green at Bear Trap Dunes, Ocean View.  Members / Career Staff of the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company where honored;

• 2012 EMT's of the Year – Firefighter / EMT Andy Johnson & Firefighter / EMT Billy Ireland
• 2012 Firefighter of the Year – Steve Lett
• 2012 Paramedic of the Year – David Hammerer NREMT-P
