Single Vehicle MVC - West Way Sea Colony

At 1447 on Sunday 2/9/14 Station 70 was dispatched to a reported MVC on West Way in Sea Colony West. 70-8 with Deputy Chief Hickman responded and upon arriving found a single vehicle MVC into a tree with air bag deployment and a single patient. Rescue 70 and Quint 70-4 responded and stabilized the vehicle and assisted B-70 with patient care. Traffic Control 70 and Fire Police closed West Way and detoured traffic. B-70 transported on patient to Beebe Medical center and the scene was turned over to DSP.
