Bethany Beach VFC provides Special Event Coverage - Bethany Beach, Delaware

On Saturday April 19th, 2014 members of the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics provided EMS coverage for the Bunny Palooza 5K/10K race in downtown Bethany Beach. Approximately 1000 participants enjoyed a beautiful spring day. C-70, Gator 70, Medic 105 and EMS 100, staffed by 9 members kept a close eye out for any potential problems. No one was transported from the event; however, several participants were treated and released.
