Quint 70 Runs On 2nd Structure Fire In Lewes - Westcoats Corner Lewes

Just after 0200 on the Monday, March 26, Quint 70 transfered to Rehoboth Beach VFC (86) to standby while Rehoboth Beach assisted Lewes VFC (82) on a restaurant fire in its district.  At 0400, Quint 70 was dispatched to a a second fire in Lewes' district, this one in the building housing All Pro Maids and an apartment.  Quint 70 arrived right behind Slaughter Beach VFC (89), staging in front of the structure and extending its aerial ladder onto the second floor.  Crew members also advanced an attack line to the second floor to assist with fire suppression. Units made quick work of the fire and then remained on scene for an extended period for overhaul.
