Service Call At The Valero Service Station - Garfield Parkway

On 02/19/2008 at 1344hrs the Bethany Beach Fire Company was alerted for a service call at the Valero Service Station on Garfield Parkway. Units arrived to find that the canopy made of heavy steel and other metal materials had fallen into the gas pumps as well as walkways along Garfield Parkway. E703 handled the assigment standing by the scene for 1.5hrs while the large canopy/sign power was secured and canopy/sign was removed from the gas pumps and surronding area.
