Tower 70 Visits the kids at Delaware Burn Camp - Camp Barnes Roxanna

Every year the Delaware Burn Camp reaches out to the young victims of the terrible trauma of burn injury. They seek to help with their physical and emotional healing by giving them a great week of summer fun. On Thursday 8/19/10, the Roxanna Volunteer Fire Company invited Bethany Beach, Millville, Frankford and Dagsboro volunteer fire company's to give these kids a fun evening. Joined by Delaware State Police Trooper 2 and Sussex County Paramedics, these first responders gave the kids a night to remember. The children, their families and camp staff were treated to a tour of the ambulances, paramedic units and fire trucks. Followed by a fly in and tour of the Trooper 2 helicopter. And finishing with a very wet and fun battle of the barrel. Tower 70 and 70-8 crews truly enjoyed meeting these great kids and helping to show them a fun time.
