New 70-8 chassis arrives at headquarters - BBVFC Headquarters

The 2010 ¾ ton Chevrolet Suburban, that will soon be the new command unit 70-8, has arrived at headquarters from Wisconsin. The new suburban was transported back over Labor Day weekend by Chief Martin and Assistant Chief Myers. While in Wisconsin the side rear windows were replaced with doors to allow access to interior cabinetry and equipment. Over the next several months cabinetry will be installed, with radios and computers added. After lighting and lettering the new 70-8 will replace the current 2002 model Ford Excursion.
