Tower 70 at Delaware Burn Camp - Camp Barnes Roxana

Firefighters and apparatus from Roxana, Bethany Beach, Millville, Dagsboro, Milton, Frankford, Magnolia, Wilmington and across Delaware came together to give kids who have suffered burns a night to remember. On Thursday August 14, 2014 they came to the Delaware Burn Camp held at Camp Barnes in Roxana and hosted a “Battle of the Barrels” for the kids. The kids saw firefighters in gear and tried some on themselves. The firefighters then had dinner with the kids and set up a line across a field with a barrel. Kids, camp staff and firefighters alike had a friendly competition that left all very wet but laughing and smiling.
