Building Fire 11th Floor Of. The Edgewater Building Seacolony

Around 1200 hours Bethany,Millville, Roxana, Rehoboth, and Frankford Fire companies were dispatched to a reported building fire at the Edgewater Building in Seacolony. Engine 702 arrived and confirmed they had a fire on the 11th floor North building. Crews from Engine 702 and Quint 705 stretched attack lines too extinguish the fire while the Crew from Tower 70 completed a primary search of the appartment. The fire was quickly extinguished and the tower crew confirmed the primary searchs were negative ( No one was found in the unit). Crews remained on scene for some time checking for fire extension in the fire unit and adjacent units. Selbyville and Dagsboro Fire companies were called to cover 70 headquarters and eventually were moved to the scene. Lewes and Millsboro then were moved to cover station 70 headquarters.
