Bethany Units Respond To A Smoke Investigation

Around 0700 hours Bethany Fire units were dispatched to a smoke investigation in the 40000 block of Grant Dr. Quint 70 arrived to find a multi unit town home complex with water coming from unit 40. Reporting party advised that he was checking units when he found water coming from the unit. When he open the door  to the unit he had a strong odor of smoke. The crew from quint 4 investigated and found a small fire in a heating unit in a untility closet. The fire was contained by a sprinkler head in the closet. The Quint crew secured the gas and electric and extinguished the remaining fire in the heater. The fire marshall was contacted and there were ni injuries reported.
